Genuine US Military issue
1985 dated plastic canteen with an NBC cap. 1988 dated LC-1 cover.
The LC-1 canteen cover was introduced as part of the new webbing system until 1976 when it was replaced by the LC-2 update. The design ultimately remained the same between the two variations, but the nomenclature was updated to comply with changes made to other components of the canteen set.
