An absolutely stunning Royal Canadian Air Force flight suit.

This is a very special piece and belongs in any serious collection of vintage flight apparel or Canadian militaria. It is completely covered in large pockets, pen slots and adjustment options such as a pair of very unusual 'Prentice' brand slide keepers to adjust the waist.
All of the chromed Lightning brand zips are present and run perfectly except on the left arm which has a replacement 'Scovill' zip from a USAF CWU-27/P suit which was attached in-house. All four cuffs have zips for easily donning and doffing the suit, and the ankle cuffs are adjustable by way of a reversible snap fastener. The material is 100% cotton and is reminiscent of vintage ventile fabric.
Produced and worn during the very experimental post-war age, the last four images show pilots of the RCAF wearing similar suits.

It is in utterly fantastic condition with very minor wear from over 50 years of storage. The label is present, legible and displays the manufacturer, 1964 date, contract number and sizing information. The suit is named in pen to A. Lygo on the label as seen. There are some minor crease marks around the entire suit, but this is hardly noticeable.
